What is a .ASE file?
The most common data format on the web.
An ASE file is an Adobe Swatch Exchange palette - a small file holding named colors (RGB, CMYK, or LAB) that you load into Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign through each app's Swatches panel. It is not an image and has nothing to do with 3ds Max scene exports or Aseprite sprites, which also use the .ase extension.
