What is a .VMSG file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .vmsg file is one of two unrelated formats: a VMware Workstation localization/message-strings file (found in the VMware install folder, open with any text editor), or a vMessage SMS backup from a Microsoft Lumia or older Nokia phone (also plain text, readable in Notepad or via sms-vmsg.org). Which one you have depends on where the file came from.
