What is a .UUE file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .uue file is a UUEncoded file, a binary file (archive, image, or program) converted to plain ASCII text so it could travel over old text-only email or Usenet. Decode it with WinRAR, 7-Zip, or the command-line uudecode tool to get the original file back. The format is obsolete; modern email uses MIME Base64 instead.
