What is a .PLF file?
The most common data format on the web.
A PLF file created by Corel WinDVD is a small playlist that points to video files on your disk. It contains no video data itself. Open it from inside WinDVD. If you do not have WinDVD, ignore the PLF and play the underlying video files directly in VLC. The same .plf extension is also used by unrelated PS3 firmware archives and device files.
