What is a .IAF file?
The most common data format on the web.
An IAF file is an Internet Account File, an exported copy of one email account's server settings, username, and password, created by Outlook Express, Windows Mail, or Windows Live Mail. To import it, use Windows Live Mail (Accounts > Import), Outlook 2002-2007 (File > Import and Export), or OE Classic. It does not contain your emails. Treat it as sensitive: the stored password is only lightly obfuscated and can be decoded by free utilities.
