What is a .DDF file?
The most common data format on the web.
A DDF file (Diamond Directive File) is a small plain-text script that tells Microsoft's MakeCAB tool which files to pack into a .cab cabinet archive and how to compress them. Open it in Notepad to read or edit it, and run it with the command: makecab /f yourfile.ddf. It is a developer build file, not a document and not a program.
